What we store

Each company's monthly summary numbers, and the name, email and phone number of each person who signs in.

Never bank logins, account numbers or Social Security numbers.

Who can see it

Your own people see only the companies they belong to. Kita staff see it to do your bookkeeping.

NaluWorks, which builds and runs the app for Kita (including team members in the Philippines), accesses it only to support the app, under a confidentiality agreement.

Where it is kept

With Supabase and Vercel in the United States, on SOC 2 certified infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Error reports from the app carry no figures or personal details.

How long we keep it

For as long as your company is a Kita client. We delete it within 30 days of a written request.

Daily backups keep a copy for up to 7 days after that, then it is gone.

Photos

Kita staff photos are public to anyone with the link. Clients upload nothing.

Who owns it

Kita owns its data. If Kita stops using the app, it gets a full copy.

Asking for deletion

Write to Kita from the Contact tab in the app, or ask your bookkeeper.
